APPROVAL PROCESS STILL ON-GOINGAs most of you will have noticed, we have still not told you about developments concerning the European competition authorities’ handling of our application to take over the Älvsborg ro-ro terminal in Göteborg from Port of Gothenburg. This is due simply to the fact that there have been no developments to report. Dialogue between DFDS/C.PORTS and the EU is continuing regarding the precise content of our application before it can officially be filed. “We are counting on being able to submit our applications officially at latest early in the new year, after which the EU has 25 working days in which to respond,” says Head of DFDS legal department, Vice President Ole Færge.
